DOWDEN, Lynna McMasters - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman - Mrs. Lynna McMasters Dowden, age 74, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct 12, at her home on Kingman Rt. 2. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Dowden was born Nov 20, 1887, in the house where she lived all her life, the daughter of Rufus and Margaret Millikin McMasters. She was married in 1907 to Grover C. Dowden, who preceded her in death in 1960. Mrs. Dowden's hobbies included quilting and weaving.Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret C. Bond of Kingman; and two grandsons, Harold and Max Bond, both of Kingman.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday Oct 14, at the Kingman Christian Church. The Rev. Donald F. Gee officiated. Burial was in the Tangier Cemetery with the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in charge.
